My mother used to make baked apples filled with raisin and served with vanilla sauce. Yum! Of course I will try your version.

What a perfect recipe to welcome fall. We’ve cut out sugar from our foods and have found a paste made from simmered dates works as a great substitute. It will be perfect in my apple holes! 🙂

I made just like the recipe but only had walnuts and it was excellent. Served with Vanilla ice cream with A touch of caramel sauce drizzled on top. My husband drizzled a little caramel sauce on his apple since he has a sweet tooth. He said I could make this every day for him!!
