If you’re Italian and love your tomato soup with heavy tomato flavor, just blend in 1 small can of tomato paste.

In reply to Clare Sowerbutts. Yes! If you haven't added the cream, it is perfectly fine to freeze and when thawed and cooked, it will yield a great result.

Didn’t have time to put in blender, so I used 1can petite tomatoes, 1 can spicy tomatoes, and small can tom. sauce. Recipe is fast and delicious 😋 !!

I followed the recipe exactly except for two changes. The grocery store did not have fresh basil so I opted for basil paste. I added a teaspoon of it to the dish. I also added a few sprinkles of sugar to tone down the acidity at the end…. This recipe was flavorful and delicious. , The only other thing I would do differently is double the batch! 😊
